updates and future plans


Hey, so I posted this and then rushed off to the summer slow jams closing ceremonies so I didn't really get a chance to post a launch devlog, but this game is pretty small and self-explanatory so oh well. Anyway, I've actually updated the game a few times already to make the second ending easier to figure out and fix some of the hazards not properly killing you and make a few cosmetic changes. I'm using all the sprite flags so the game's kind of maxed out on meaningful mechanics without either taking existing ones away or more refactoring than I'm probably up for on something like this, but I'm probably going to update this at least once more with some more visual stuff like rounding off the island's edges a bit more and maybe some additional cosmetic tiles. I'm actually about to start on another pico-8 project and if I learn how to do a title screen, which seems likely, I'll see about adding one here too

anyway, long story short this'll get at least one more minor update and I'll post another of these when it does
